The Treasurer is the chief financial management officer of the Centre and must have a copy of LAVic’s Financial Regulations.

The tasks of the Treasurer include preparing the annual budget, planning for the Centre’s financial future, regularly monitoring revenue and expenditure, and assisting other committee functional areas with financial matters.

An effective Treasurer needs to be well organised, keep good records, identify information required to be kept for audit purposes, and allocate time periods to be able to maintain the books.
