Little Athletics Victoria promotes a strong Centre structure to ensure each and every Centre has a solid foundation to operate successfully.
Within the Centre Structure component of the Centre Resource Guide, you will find how to manage your committee as well as being able to adequately run a committee meeting.
The efficient management of a Centre is crucial in ensuring your members feel apart of a well run sporting organisation.
This section provides guidance on a range of different categories that all need to come together to be successful. They include: financial management, communications and marketing, fundraising, business planning and progress, participating and inclusion, affiliation and membership, systems, and insurance.
Little Athletics Centre’s across Victoria range in sizes with regards to their physical resources. Each Centre does everything possible to achieve the best possible facilities for their members, with funding from external parties also playing a role.
This section will provide advice on how a Centre can go about funding additional resources through grants and donations. The section will also cover facility management as well as grounds hire agreements.
The resources found within the policies and guidelines section will assist in improving your overall Centres operations and how it fits within the local and broader community.
Little Athletics requires a vast amount of volunteers to ensure a smooth running of any Centre. Volunteers range from committee members, to event days assistance, as well as parents. Without volunteers, we wouldn’t be able to provide Little Athletics to our members.
Little Athletics Victoria is continually adding and updating resources within ourCentre. These range from new documents, to webinars, to help documents. If you are unable to find what you are after, please get in touch with the office.
